The Washington Post called him “the single best explainer of abstruse concepts in the world today.” Professor Greene hosted two Peabody and Emmy Award winning NOVA miniseries based on his books and is a frequent television guest, joining Stephen Colbert several times and playing himself in an episode of The Big Bang Theory. Dr. Rubin is a former NASA astronaut, scientist, Professor of Computational and Systems Biology, and Founding Director of the Trivedi Institute for Space and Global Biomedicine, She was the first person to sequence DNA in space. Selected as a NASA astronaut in 2009, she has led the development of spaceflight hardware and techniques for studying molecular and cellular biology in microgravity and contributed to the design and testing of NASA’s next-generation lunar spacesuits. She has completed two long-duration missions, four spacewalks, and spent 300 days aboard the International Space Station. Her current work bridges space exploration and global health, with a focus on genomics, synthetic biology, and biomedical innovation.

In his space career, he served on the founding team of SpaceX, as its first VP of Business Development and early advisor to Elon Musk, and held roles at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory and the French Space Agency. He has been involved in over 46 satellite missions, pioneered concepts like software-defined satellites and micro-launch vehicles, and co-founded companies including Vector Launch, StratSpace, and Phantom Space Corporation, where he serves as CEO and co-founder.
