  • ”🇺🇸 America at 250: The Battles Before the Birthday”
    Jul 5 2026
As America celebrates 250 years of independence, we’ll wave the flag, watch the fireworks, and remember the courageous men and women who fought to secure the freedoms we enjoy today. From the Revolutionary War to the Civil War, from the beaches of Normandy to the battles still being fought to preserve liberty, freedom has always come at a cost. But what if the greatest battle for freedom wasn’t fought on American soil? Long before there was a Declaration of Independence, God was fighting for His people. From the Garden of Eden to the Exodus, from David and Goliath to the empty tomb, Scripture tells the story of a battle against sin, death, and the enemy of our souls. The freedoms we celebrate as Americans are precious, but they point us to an even greater freedom—one that no government can grant and no person can take away. As the Apostle Paul reminds us in 2 Corinthians 3:17, “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” Join Tommy and Lisa as they explore the battles that shaped America, the battles that shaped God’s people, and the ultimate sacrifice that gave us victory!!! Won by The Lord of lords & King of all kings –Jesus Before America had its birthday, heaven had already begun the greatest rescue mission in history. This Fourth of July, celebrate more than 250 years of a nation. Celebrate the God who has always been writing the story of true freedom. “Enjoy the fireworks—but never forget the cross. One celebrates a nation’s freedom; the other secured your eternity.”

  • ”Our Mouths says Jesus... Does Our Monday Provide the Receipt?”
    Jun 29 2026
Our Sundays speak Jesus but what does Monday say? Do You Have the Receipt? Is There Evidence of Your Faith? (Or as we like to ask… Your Mouth Says Jesus… Does Your Monday?) It’s easy to say we believe in Jesus. We can quote Scripture, sing praise songs, and show up at church on Sunday. But what does our faith look like on Monday morning when we’re at work, in traffic, dealing with difficult people, or facing life’s challenges? In this episode, we ask a simple but convicting question: Do you have the receipt? Is there evidence that your faith is real? We’re not saved by our works—we’re saved by grace through faith— because genuine faith changes the way we live. Drawing from Acts 16:31 and 1 Peter 2:21–22, we’ll talk about what it means to truly follow Christ, not just believe in Him. Jesus didn’t simply call us to profess our faith; He called us to imitate His life, His love, His humility, and His obedience. So… if someone looked at your life, would they see the evidence? Does your Monday reflect what your mouth proclaimed on Sunday? Join us for an honest, encouraging conversation with a little humor, a lot of Scripture, and a challenge to live a faith that’s not only believed—but believable.

  • ”The Lamp Works Fine; It’s the Runner That’s Struggling”
    Jun 1 2026
In this episode, Lisa and Tommy dive into the challenge every believer faces: God’s Word isn’t the problem—our willingness to follow it is. Drawing from Revelation 2, Psalm 119:105 (“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path”), and the biblical call to run the race with endurance, they explore why so many Christians know where the path is but still find themselves wandering into spiritual ditches. The lamp is shining, the finish line is marked, and the crown awaits—but sometimes the runner gets distracted, tired, complacent, or convinced there’s an easier route. With their signature humor and honest conversation, Lisa and Tommy discuss what it means to keep moving toward Christ in a world full of detours, dead ends, and flashing neon signs pointing the wrong way. Along the way, they’ll unpack Jesus’ encouragement and warnings to the churches in Revelation, the promise of the crown of life to those who persevere, and why faithfulness is less about sprinting and more about refusing to quit. Because at the end of the day, the lamp still works. The question is: are we willing to follow where it leads until we cross the finish line and hear, “Well done”? “To the one who is victorious… I will give the right to eat from the tree of life.” — Revelation 2:7.
