  • Phillies Have A Fish Fry, Tinker With New Lineup
    Jun 17 2026

🔥 PHILLIES OFFENSE ERUPTS! 15 RUNS IN 2 NIGHTS | Luzardo DOMINATES | Mets Series Preview The Philadelphia Phillies are LOCKED IN at Citizens Bank Park! Over the last two nights against the Miami Marlins, the Phillies have outscored their opponent 15-2, and the bats have been absolutely rolling. Monday night, Zack Wheeler was brilliant — 6 innings, 9 strikeouts, zero runs — while Justin Crawford went 3-for-4, J.T. Realmuto and Gabriel Rincones Jr. each homered, and Bryce Harper drove in a run in a dominant 7-0 shutout victory.

Then Tuesday night, the Phillies did it AGAIN. Alec Bohm went 2-for-4 with a home run and 3 RBI, Kyle Schwarber and Brandon Marsh each went deep, and Bryson Stott added a clutch RBI triple in an 8-2 win. Phillies hitters have been making Miami pay early — dropping 7 combined runs in just the first two innings of Game 2.

But the real story Tuesday? Jesús Luzardo was ELECTRIC. The lefty went 7 innings, allowing just 2 runs on 5 hits, struck out 9 batters, walked only 2, and threw 106 pitches in a vintage outing. Luzardo earned the win and is making a serious case as one of the most reliable arms in the Phillies rotation right now.

Now the Phillies wrap up their series finale against Miami this afternoon before gearing up for what everyone in Philly is circling on the calendar — a THREE-GAME HOME SERIES against the New York Mets starting Thursday, June 18th. With momentum on their side, Citizens Bank Park is going to be LOUD this weekend. ⚾ Phillies vs. Mets — Thursday, Friday & Saturday night at CBP. Can the Phillies keep the offense rolling against their division rival?

  • Trea Turner problem WORSENING as Phillies get exposed vs. Brewers
    Jun 15 2026

The Philadelphia Phillies wrapped up a potential NL playoff preview against the Milwaukee Brewers, but what did we learn from the series? The PHLY Phillies Podcast breaks down the Phillies' weekend in Milwaukee, including a dominant performance by Jacob Misiorowski, Cristopher Sánchez's rare stumble, offensive concerns after Sunday's shutout, and whether the bottom of the lineup is providing enough support. We also discuss Andrew Painter's continued growing pains, Aaron Nola's struggles, Orion Kerkering's emergence, and whether the Phillies should consider changing bullpen roles with Jordan Romano and Keller. Plus, we react to reports linking the Phillies to outfield trade targets Seiya Suzuki and Jo Adell, debate whether either player would significantly upgrade the roster, and examine the latest on Justin Crawford and Derek Hill. Later, we dive into the National League Wild Card race and explain why playoff seeding could be just as important as winning the NL East. How do the Phillies stack up against the Brewers after this series? Would a matchup against the Padres or Cardinals be more favorable than facing Milwaukee or Atlanta? We also preview the Phillies' upcoming week against the Miami Marlins and New York Mets, discuss Zack Wheeler's return and the Phillies' rotation concerns, evaluate whether Aaron Nola can still turn things around, and identify starting pitching trade candidates who could help down the stretch. Finally, we break down J.T. Realmuto's impressive ABS (Automated Balls and Strikes) challenge success rate, what the Phillies are teaching him about the system, and whether catcher challenge value could eventually become a measurable statistic.

  • Philadelphia Phillies Face One Of The Best Jacob Misiorowski
    Jun 12 2026

🦅 The Philadelphia Phillies head to American Family Field this weekend for a HUGE three-game series against the Milwaukee Brewers — and it is not going to be easy! 🔥 ⚾ Jacob Misiorowski (7-2, 1.50 ERA) is waiting for them in Game 1. The 24-year-old flamethrower set a pitch-tracking ERA record with a 103.7 mph fastball, threw 45 pitches at 101+ mph in his last start, and is sitting at a jaw-dropping 0.20 ERA over his last seven starts. Can the Phillies' lineup handle THAT kind of heat? 😤 🚨 Adolis Garcia Injury Update — Garcia exited Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays with a pulled muscle near his right shoulder, and his 2026 season has already been a bumpy ride at the plate. We break down the severity, what it means for the outfield, and how the Phillies adjust going into a tough road series. 🤕 😬 Trea Turner's Struggles — Batting just .226 on the season with his entire Baseball Savant page in the blue, Turner has been one of the biggest storylines in Philadelphia all year. Jim Salisbury is suggesting the Phillies drop him in the lineup for a "shock value" wake-up call. We dive into what's gone wrong and what the Phillies desperately need from him. ⏰
