I got to the end of this and had to go straight back to the beginning again. I thought the narration was excellent. It’s written in an interview style between the “author” and “Ann”, the woman who is experiencing the paranormal events. I read a lot of horror and paranormal fiction and this was an original take on the haunted house trope.

Iv listened to this book about 4 times now. I love the way both actors tell the story. But I see this as possibly fantastical events imagined by someone with trauma and repressed memories. To believe that the house looked after her, loved her and protected her. In areas she felt let down by her parents. Maybe I'm just projecting but that's how I felt when listening to it for the first time.
