The Mavericks just pulled off something pretty wild—they won the NBA Draft Lottery on May 12th, even though they only had a 1.8% chance. That’s the 12th-best odds, and somehow, they came out on top.

Now they’ve got the No. 1 overall pick, and everyone expects them to take Cooper Flagg out of Duke. He’s been getting a lot of hype—some are calling him a generational talent. After the season they just had, this could be the reset button the Mavs needed.. but Zach doesn't think so.
