In 1995, a Doctor Who-adjacent independent film called Shakedown: Return of the Sontarans was released by Dreamwatch Media. Written by Terrance Dicks, it starred Sophie Aldred, Carole Ann Ford, Jan Chappelle, Brian Croucher, and Michael Wisher. The Sontarans track down a Rutan to a solar racing ship the Tiger Moth and are willing to kill all the humans to wipe it out. The Sontaran leader and the ship captain make a deal ... but can either of them be trusted?
