Krassen Stanchev served on a committee which wrote Bulgaria's Constitution after the end of communism. He discusses transitions and progress made by former Warsaw Pact and USSR countries since then. He also discusses Bulgaria's lack of welfare programs and their successes with the assimilation of Muslim immigrants.
