  • Defenders in the Dark
    Jun 8 2026

Have you ever walked out of a room and wondered what happens after the door closes? It can be a very vulnerable feeling! There is, however, so much peace and hope in knowing you have good, Godly people in your corner.
Worldly friendships are often built around the good times, but true friends are forged for the hard times. A real friend doesn't just celebrate your victories to your face, they defend your character and guard your name when you aren't in the room to do it yourself.
Despair thrives in isolation, but hope grows when you know you aren't fighting your battles alone. Ecclesiastes 4:10 reminds us, "For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up."
Let's challenge ourselves today to be the kind of friends who shut down gossip and speak up for the absent.
Who is in your corner today? Take a second to thank God for them!

  • Becoming the Face of God
    Jun 8 2026

"No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us." - 1 John 4:12
Have you ever heard someone ask, "If God is real, where is He when people are hurting?"
It's a heavy question, but the Bible gives us a beautiful, challenging answer: He wants us to be the answer.
1 John 4:12 tells us that no one has ever seen God, but when we love one another, He lives in us. We are very literally called to be His reflection. Think of it like being an ambassador, just like an ambassador represents the tone and message of their home country, we are called to represent Jesus everywhere we go (2 Corinthians 5:20).
Being the "face of God" isn't about pretending to be perfect. It's about bringing real, tangible hope to the hopeless. It's stepping into dark, difficult situations and choosing to be the light (Matthew 5:14). It’s offering a listening ear, helping out a neighbor, or just showing up for someone who feels completely forgotten. When they see our love in action, they experience His.
As you go about your week, ask yourself "When people interact with me, whose face do they see?" Let's choose to be the proof of God's love to someone today!

  • Broken to Be Remade
    May 31 2026

Have you ever felt like things in your life are just falling apart? Or maybe you're feeling a little flawed and worn out by the heavy things you've had to carry?
When the clay gets messed up, the potter doesn’t throw it in the trash—he simply breaks it down and remakes it into something even better.
You are a work in progress. We all have bumps, bruises, and cracks from life but God, the Master Potter, doesn’t distance Himself from our mess. His hands stay right on us, when we allow Him to reshape us.
Breaking isn't punishment; it's reshaping. Sometimes we have to lose our old, flawed shape to be built back stronger. What feels like a breaking point is often just God working out the hard lumps so He can remake us.
You hold a treasure! 2 Corinthians 4:7 reminds us that we are just fragile "earthen vessels." But our real value isn't about being perfect, it's about the precious cargo we hold inside. God's strength shines brightest through our cracks!
You were made to carry Living Water: In the ancient world, clay pots had one main job: carrying life-saving water to a thirsty household. When Jesus fills us with His "Living Water" (John 4:14), we aren't meant to just sit safely on a shelf. We get to pour out His love, grace, and truth to the people around us.
If you feel like you are being crushed or reshaped right now, don't fear the Potter's wheel. The breaking is never the end of your story, it is simply the beginning of your remaking!

    May 24 2026

When someone blindsides you or breaks your trust, it is so easy to get trapped in a loop of trying to fix it, confront them, or wait around for an apology. But look at how Jesus handled Judas. He didn't chase him down, He didn't call a meeting, and He didn't try to change his mind. He let him walk because Jesus knew a greater purpose. If you’re struggling to let go of the hurt or stop obsessing over someone who wronged you, this message is your reminder to shift your focus back to your own walk and leave the justice to God.
