  • When I Said I Do (Lifetime)
    May 30 2026
This week on Girls Gone Hallmark, we're reviewing the Lifetime romance When I Said I Do starring Sarah Drew and Eric Johnson. Going in, Wendy fully expected a classic Lifetime thriller - because let's be honest, Lifetime has trained us to expect felonies, not romance. Instead, we got search-and-rescue teams, second chances at love, aging parents, grief that refuses to stay in the past, and surprisingly steamy chemistry between the leads. We discuss what worked, what didn't quite land, and whether the movie's biggest conflict was actually solved by the ending at all.

  • TWH Mailbag #6
    May 29 2026
This week’s The Way Home Listener Mailbag 6 asks an important question: are Jacob and Abigail the Romeo and Juliet of Port Haven, or are we all just getting swept up in a very dramatic balcony scene? Listeners weigh in on the growing Landry-Goodwin romance, debate whether Max was actually right during his confrontation with Alice, and once again present overwhelming evidence that Kat may be the least subtle time traveler in television history. We also chat about Tessa and Fern’s complicated history, celebrate the arrival of a beloved icon, and one listener agrees that the show should have ended with Jacob's return. As always, the theories are thoughtful, the hot takes are spicy, and the listeners came prepared.

  • True Justice An Eye for an Eye
    May 26 2026
The Justice Warriors are officially back, and we’ve been ready. After what felt like a very long wait between installments, True Justice: Eye For An Eye drops this crew straight into the deeply terrifying world of school politics, parent coalitions, and competitive mom energy - which somehow might be more dangerous than actual criminals. his second installment in the budding Hallmark Mystery franchise once again centers Katherine McNamara and Markian Tarasiuk alongside the rest of the Justice Warriors team as they work to clear a mother accused of murdering another member of the Parent School Coalition, while Nikki DeLoach and Benjamin Ayres return in supporting roles. If the first movie established anything, it’s that this franchise is leaning fully into its fast-paced, team-driven mystery format - and it continues to be a fun fit for the Hallmark Mystery lineup.

  • The Way Home Listener Mailbag Season 4 #5
    May 22 2026
This week’s The Way Home Listener Mailbag 5 is packed with passionate defenses, growing frustration, and one very humbling realization that Megan and Wendy apparently know absolutely nothing about Canadian geography. Listeners fully embrace Nick’s unexpected rise from goofy to charming MVP of Port Haven - with one listener officially dubbing him “adora-baby,” a title we fear may now be permanent. Meanwhile, the inbox is overflowing with thoughtful criticism about Elliot’s writing this season, questions about whether the show is sacrificing character consistency for plot, and ongoing suspicion that absolutely nobody in Port Haven knows how to hide behind a tree without being spotted. Plus: Stratford Festival corrections, Del discourse, and more pond chaos.

The Girls Gone Hallmark listener survey results are in and WOW… you all had thoughts. Like, passionate thoughts. Hundreds of responses rolled in with everything from incredibly kind encouragement to very specific grievances about the News & Notes segment, podcast ads, and whether we're simply "too soft" when reviewing Hallmark movies. In this episode, we’re diving into the biggest trends from the survey, reacting to some of the funniest and most brutally honest responses, and addressing the feedback head on. Turns out the GGH listeners are just as opinionated as the hosts.

Our favorite baker-turned-sleuth is back in action, and this time Hannah and Chad are juggling two unsolved puzzles at once. Best Served Cold is the 14th installment in Hallmark's beloved Hannah Swensen Mystery franchise, and Alison Sweeney once again writes, executive produces, and stars. When a suspect in a high-profile forgery case turns up murdered and the prosecutor handling the case suddenly goes missing, Hannah and Chad must figure out how both events are connected. And they have to do it before the trial clock runs out! Meanwhile, Hannah's mother Delores puts her own private investigation skills to work, having already gone undercover to help build the forgery case. The mystery unravels through a trail of pawnshop scams, dead ends, and (of course) some very good baking
