I've found myself, here recently, going to ChatGPT with things before I go to the Lord with it. I couldn't put my finger on why exactly I was doing that, aside from seeking answers to my questions. I didn't understand why I acted as if I thought ChatGPT was better than the Lord... then it dawn on me. We live in a world that wants what it wants when we want it.

So, when I was seeking answers, the fastest place to get said answers was from Chat. Let me just give you some "big sister advice" and say that is NOT a good way to go about things. We should not be turning to Chat before we turn to the Lord. Scripture tells us "Seek first the Kingdom of God".

In today's episode, my prayer is that y'all will learn from my mistake and not turn to Chat before turning to God in prayer. ❤️

I've been reading through the second book of the Bible, Exodus, and I've been reading about how the Israelites forgot the works of the Lord. Did you know that forgetting the works of the Lord is a sin? I didn't either.

In today's episode, we dive into what it looked like for the Israelites to forget the works of the Lord and, more importantly, what we can do to keep from falling into that same sin. Gratitude, I believe, is one of the biggest ways we can keep from forgetting what God has done for us and in our lives!

Let me just go ahead and spoil-alert this episode for you... God does indeed want you!

In this episode, we talk about the many people God used in so many different ways! So many people we see in the Bible have sinned in some pretty big ways, but that just means the Lord gets to redeem in even bigger ways.

That same thing goes for us! It doesn't matter how big we sin, if we have a heart of repentance and ask God for forgiveness, He can and will redeem our lives!

If y'all have been keeping up with the last couple of episodes, y'all will know how much I've talked about how busy life feels right now. As I was on a prayer walk, I felt like the Lord reminded me that if I am too busy and preoccupied with all the busyness of life I will (and have) missed seeing the blessing He has sent me way.

In this episode, we are going to try be focusing on the blessing in life instead of the busyness.

Not to sound too creepy with this title, but it has dawned on me that we as Christians have so many opportunities to minister to people through our actions. We don't even have to talk to these people to share the love of Christ with others. We can simply shine the Light of Jesus Christ!

Today's episode won't look much like a regular FOF episode. The Lord has blessed me with so many things to keep busy with I didn't think I'd be able to get a chance to sit and record and episode. But the Lord made a way!

This episode is mostly me catching y'all up on what's been going on in my life lately and something spiritual I've learned through this busy time. We are truly going to be raw and real in this episode (very little editing) and talk about the things in life here recently!

Let’s be real. This is a very broken, messed up, and sinful world we live in and if you’re anything like me, sometimes that realization can be discouraging, heartbreaking, and even overwhelming. But in this episode, we are reading through scripture passages that remind us why we don’t have to give into that feeling of hopelessness. Why we can go through life having hope. And, equally as important, why we can go through hard times and struggle with that same hope.

Jesus Christ. He is the reason. Scripture says He is our living Hope. Our hope in Jesus Christ isn’t stagnant or fleeting. It’s not temporary. It is constant because Christ is constant! When we put our hope in Jesus, our Hope is everlasting.

And with that Hope, maybe we can cause an unbeliever to wonder how it is that we can go through hard times with so much hope and come out the other side with joy and thanksgiving. Maybe that causes them to want to find out more about our Christ.

So, as we go through hard times and struggles, let’s remember that our hope is not found in earthly things, but in our living God!

In today's episode, we get to see just how much we have to be grateful for! God has given us every reason to be content... yes, even when things are feeling overwhelming and uncertain. As it says in scripture, we can "Be content with what you have, because God has said, 'Never will I leave you, never will I forsake you'".

Even if that's "all", we have so much to be grateful for and content with because of Christ, because Christ died for us, because Christ loves us that much!
