  • #21 Frankey & Sandrino – Making Histories: Timeless Sounds, Future Vision
    May 13 2026

In this episode, I sit down with Frankey & Sandrino to dive deep into the story behind their label Sum Over Histories — from its origins to becoming one of electronic music’s most distinctive imprints.

We go back to the early 2000s, where their paths first crossed in a small club in Germany, long before their now-signature sound took shape. What started as a natural, pressure-free studio session in 2010 evolved into a creative partnership that has produced some of the most defining tracks within the scene such as their 2015 anthem 'Acamar' released on the Berlin label Innervisions.

At the heart of the conversation is Sum Over Histories — a label born not from strategy, but from instinct. Inspired by a concept in quantum physics, the name reflects their ethos: music as something open, subjective, and multi-layered — where every listener experiences something different.

  • #20 Pole Position – Beyond the Finish Line: From the Racetrack to the Dancefloor
    Mar 19 2026

n this episode, host Richard Q chats to Jaime Alguersuari and Loïc LeJoliff, the duo behind Pole Position. Jaime made history as one of the youngest drivers in Formula 1 before reinventing himself in electronic music, while Loïc built a career behind the scenes as a festival promoter and co-founder of Barcelona’s renowned Brunch Electronik events.

Together, they discuss their journey into music, the story behind Pole Position, and the parallels between the high-pressure world of motorspor tand the electronic music scene. They also talk about their creative process in the studio, building their label Anims, the current state of Barcelona’s club scene, and why taking risks remains essential for artists today.
