    David MacLean is the Founder and Chief Impact Assurance Officer (CIAO) of P3I.GLOBAL and JV Partner of ESG IMPACTS. Both ventures are centered around the certainty that mature, readily available solutions already exist that immediately solve any building or community health, sustainability or resiliency issues while also capable of creating greater measurable environmental, social, and financial asset value. With over 30 years of the building science, economic analysis, sustainability, and community impact expertise, David is also a founding Board Member of the USGBC Texas Chapter, Chair of the Impact Advisory Community, and Co-Founder of the Texas Sustainable Business Network.

    Steve Apter QFSM, MSc, HFInSTR is an internationally recognized emergency management leader and keynote speaker with over 31 years of service in UK Fire and Rescue Services. He served as Chief Fire Officer of the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service and Deputy Commissioner of the London Fire Brigade, where he led counter-terrorism response capabilities and advised UK government ministers during some of the UK's most consequential incidents including the Grenfell Tower fire. Steve was awarded the Queen's Fire Service Medal (QFSM) in the 2021 Queen's Birthday Honours for exemplary leadership.


    Since retiring from operational service in 2021, Steve has served as strategic advisor to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's national resilience framework and as Director of Response for the Red Sea Global Fire and Rescue Service. Steve currently a Fire Operations Consultant with AESG and a Senior Associate at the UK Resilience Academy.

    Bill McQuade P.E., LEED AP, CDP, Fellow ASHRAE has spent over 32 years working in the HVAC&R industry in various roles. He is Global Vice President for Government Affairs and Sustainability at the Baltimore Aircoil Company. In that capacity, he is responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with regulators, legislators, associations, and societies and he leads the development and implementation of the company's global ESG strategy. Previously to that, he was Vice President of Sector Services at the Air Conditioning Heating and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) and he worked for 26 years for the York International/Johnson Controls organization in various roles.

    Throughout his career, he has been a very active member of our global industry. In the ASHRAE Society, he is the current Society President. Over the years, he Chaired various councils and committees and chaired the subcommittee that developed the 2019-2024 ASHRAE Strategic Plan.

    A regular attendee of UN climate and ozone meetings, he has provided input to the US, EU, and Indian governments regarding ozone and climate regulation and legislation.

    Bill is Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania, a LEED AP, and a Certified Decarbonization Professional, He an ASHRAE Fellow (2013) and received the ASHRAE Exceptional Service Award in 2023. During his career, he has been awarded 22 U.S. and International patents.
