One of the all time classiest people that I have learned from in my life is Jim Rohn. This post is one of the biggies as far as life lessons go. It comes from Jim Rohn Official (@OfficialJimRohn) “For those who loved Jim Rohn, few lines hit harder than this: “Discipline weighs ounces, regret weighs tons.” It’s a timeless reminder that the small weight of daily effort is nothing compared to the crushing burden of missed chances. Which one are you choosing to carry?” I liked playing the recording for you so that you could actually hear Jim’s voice. Do yourself a favor and search for and listen to content from Jim Rohn. Pure Gold! I got a powerful thought of how fast time has gone by - listening to the 70’s & 80’s Music station on TV…. and WOW.. seeing some of the years connected to some of my favorite songs growing up…. Holy Cow!! There simply are some things that I know I need to act upon, so that I don’t have as many regrets as I get older, and I will (we all will) get older! It’s up to each of us to take a good luck at this thought from Mr. Rohn and we are the only ones that can do something about it for ourselves and our futures. Thanks for listening. I came across a gem today that I needed (of course I need it, why else would I connect with it.) When these reminders come across my radar - it’s so important for me to grab them, use them, and share them. This is from Coach the Coaches (@WinningCoaches ) and the treasure they shared is this: “Let me give so much time to the improvement of myself that I shall have no time to criticize others.” – John Wooden. Of course it is from one of the greatest teachers of all time. This gets me fired up to keep looking for the gems I try and find every day to keep getting better and to stop wasting my time judging others, criticizing, condemning and complaining. Wow.. those things bring me down so much… and I need to look for ways to stop making those choices for sure. How about you?
