Joe and Dave discuss three cases that were resolved decades after the incidents took place: the 1964 gruesome torture and murder of Catherine Blackurn, the 1958 disappearance of the Martin Family, and the 2006 discovery of the "woman in the well". As a staple of CrimeCon, Joseph Scott Morgan appears on many of the panel discussions as well as presenting his own programs and is a "must see" person at CrimeCon attendees!   • Man Shares Condo with Dead Ex for 7 Months

    When officers are dispatched to check on a call of a man walking around a condo complex in his underwear, mumbling to himself and incoherent, they have no idea of the horror that awaits. Matthew Lewinski is taken from the condo complex and admitted to Henry Ford Hospital Intensive Care Unit. Lewinski's sister, Debra Federico, is notified by the condominium complex that lights were left 'on' inside the condo when Lewinski was taken away. Federico shows up to turn out the lights and lock the doors, but is hit with a strong smell of decay. Residents have been complaining for months about the smell but couldn't find the source of the odor.     On January 8, 1994, a person walking a wooded area off of State Highway 225 in Baldwin County, Alabama, spotted skeletal remains with items scattered about the scene: A trucker hat that said America By Birth, Texan by Grace Of God, a western shirt, an inhaler, a digital watch, dark pair of prescription, bifocal glasses, a mechanical pen and pencil set, as well as a torch tip. Investigation revealed the person was a victim of a homicide and detectives believe the murder happened in 1988 or 1989, but detectives were unable to identify the victim. The investigation stalled and the case went cold. Joseph Scott Morgan and Dave Mack take on the case of "Baldwin County John Doe" a case that was cold for decades, but not forgotten. Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences working with local law enforcement Submit Forensic evidence to OTHRAM, and after 30 years, "Baldwin County John Doe" has a name, and his family has some peace.

The victim was then placed in a bathtub, wrapped up in carpet and air mattress, bound with an extension cord and put into a closet. But not before Ebanks allegedly cut off the victims' head and hands and placed them in a suitcase and carried out of the apartment. Joseph Scott Morgan and Dave Mack discuss the case and additional details that help explain some of the charges Ebanks now faces with his bond set at $1 million!     July 12, 1980, Everett, Washington: Married, mother of two, Susan Vesey, was found dead in her home the morning after her 21st birthday. Her children were home while she was tied up, beaten, sexually assaulted and strangled. Many possible suspects, including her husband and brother-in-law, were interviewed, but no arrest was made, and the case went cold. June 2, 1984, Everett, Washington: Passerby calls 911 from a pay phone to report a fire in a small apartment building. Firefighters rush in to put out the fire and find Judy Weaver, tied up with a phone cord, strangled, brutalized and dead. The investigation stalls and goes cold. In the Weaver evidence file - a piece of carpeting from the apartment and a cigarette butt from the potential suspect. Joseph Scott Morgan and Dave Mack dig into the files of Susan Vesey and Judy Weaver and explain how those murders were directly tied to a sexual assault in 1979 of a woman who was able to escape the monster and the sexual assault of two sisters in 1984, that landed the suspect in prison, his DNA in CODIS, and creative undercover investigators using the "chewing gum trick" to solve two cold case homicides.
