Summary

The Bible Bard examines what the literature of the Bible says about who is God and who are human beings. The Bible Bard is a public service presenting Bible literature to an audience that has never heard what this book actually says. The Bible texts that I’m reading out are so clear that regardless of translation, they all say the same thing! The Bible Bard is not trying to convert listeners to a religion. The thoughts presented are in fact what the Bible itself actually says - you decide whether you agree or not. This podcast is for you if you are merely curious about what this wonderful collection of books, stories, and statements actually says. This podcast is for you if you do not have the time or it is even dangerous for you to possess and read all 31,102 verses in the Bible and sift among them for the key thoughts about God or the human race that you are interested in. This is the way the Bible Bard works. Brief recitations, closely focused, no distractions, no rabbit trails. Send the Bible Bard any questions or remarks you care to offer to BibleBardUS@gmail.com. Glad to hear from you. Go to www.BibleBard.org to see the archive of podcast topics. The podcast is published in eight (8) languages including English, Bengali, Chichewa, Hindi, Spanish, Swahili, and Urdu, with three (3) more languages in development: Creole, Nepali, and Telugu. Bible Bard podcast BB-148_Amazing Dreams in the Bible, Part 1. Human beings dream while sleeping. In Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Dumbledore says, “For in dreams, we enter a world that’s entirely our own.” While this statement feels poetically true, in the Bible certain dreams become dimensions in which we can meet God and He can communicate with us using imagery that often requires an interpretation or context.

  • What the Bible Says about Eternal Life
    Apr 20 2026

Bible Bard podcast BB-147_What the Bible Says about Eternal Life. There is an idea expressed in the Bible about something called “eternal” or “everlasting life”. English speakers look at this expression as life of endless duration, the quality of life as immortality. But as we can see from the next texts, eternal life appears to be about more than just life that never ends.
