This is a great starting point for people to research and find out about this awful and little known about today, part of history. My grandfather was in the 5th battalion, Suffolk regt, was captured during the fall of Singapore and spent the whole remainder of the war in captivity working on many parts of the railway listed by the author! I’ve been researching my grandfather for years and I’ve learnt new things about the areas he worked from this podcast!
Fantastic listen and highly recommend, I’d love to hear an audiobook that goes into more depth but it seems to be an area not very well catered for on here.

Fantastic insight
