I love this author so much and loved all of the original sons of Templar books but this just felt really lacking. Maybe it’s the narrators? The story itself feels lacking too though, no real grit and rushing past the actual moments of any meaning, like saving Kate. It just wasn’t right. Would love to listen to violets story but the male narrator sounds awful from the preview so I think I’ll avoid that too.
