I always enjoy Alessa Thorns books and this audio collection is no exception. The narrator's were able to make each performance and couple distinct.

The story was engaging, the romance steamy and the world well developed.

The first book was a bit one dimensional and the characters sketchy and the female narrator's terrible English accent was grating. Everytime she mispronounced Salisbury and simple words like hand it was like fingernails on a blackboard.
However the second and third books had much more depth and I thoroughly enjoyed them despite the narrator's unconvincing accent, shame as her voice tone was pleasant.

Very enjoyable and easy listening story. This could easily have been made twenty or thirty hours longer and given more description and depth to the characters and events. However, this might have annoyed or frustrated listeners/readers looking for fast paced, witty, snarky romance. I recommend this as a film or limited series option.

I actually enjoyed the storyline of these three books. It was interesting and really kept you interested in spite of a few wild character jumps. However, whilst the male narrator is perfection, the female’s narration is quiet grinding. Her vowels are just too rounded. So much so that she sounded as if English isn’t her first language. Her attempt at an Irish accent was truly atrocious. However the timbre and lilt of her voice was absolutely beautiful and I think that the faux posh narration really let her down as I can’t fault the performance in relation to delivery of emotion and pace. I would recommend downloading the sample first to see if you could listen to hours of that accent.
