I loved learning about women in whisky throughout history. I highly recommend this book!

The narrator had quite a sing-songy voice and a very American accent and he did not know how to pronounce many of the Scottish distilleries.

Its a fascinating story, but the terrible narration makes it hard to listen too. shame.

I downloaded this as an Audible title and listened to about a minute before I had to switch it off due to the irritating voice of the narrator. I would liken it to the scene in Jaws when Robert Shaw draws his nails down the blackboard. "I'll read this book for you, but it ain't gonna be easy"
Note to self, check the sample first in future.
I will pick up a print version of the book as I am sure the story is worth knowing.
As for the narrator, maybe he could get a gig making sound torture tapes for the CIA.
