The narration for starters is awful. I like Anna Acton on Calm but her reading this story was dire. Terrible Welsh accent and male voice, and it was told like a child’s story book rather than any sort of passion coming through. Every other sentence in the story went back to ‘Stella’ and it just got tedious so I gave up after chapter 4. Sorry :-(

The only thing that would make this better - would be the same story from his perspective with a male narrator. For the full package. It’s beautiful. The only book I’ve ever gone back and listened to straight away!

I just couldn't stand the "welsh" accent from the narrator. It was terrible and sometimes sounded indian/Asian. only got three chapters in and couldn't face any more.
