Have loved Lively from the start of the Perfect series, this was a true treat to see him get what he deserved. Connie was intriguing as always and the surprise visit at the end tremendous. Can’t wait for the next.

Although I did enjoy this one, it certainly isn't my favourite Helen Fields book.  The book opens strongly but I found it quite slow in parts and felt my mind wandering as I listened, and the shifting perspectives made it difficult to follow at times.  I quite liked the quirkiness of Connie Woolwine in previous books but I found her a little unlikeable in this one.  There were several twists and I didn't guess who the killer was (did anyone??). I also appreciated the mention of Luc Callanach.

The books is narrated by Robin Laing who does an excellent job.
