Loved Florence’s story but really struggled with Max. I listened to him on double speed just to get the gist, he was arrogant, patronising and self satisfied.
His story focused a LOT on the spiritual world and it was rather repetitive, on and on about his spiritual journey.
And yet Florence and Rupert’s story jumped forward years at a time.
The ending was a bit too quick to be satisfactory.

Ruined by an insufferable Max

I wasn’t sure about this book at the beginning but I was soon enthralled by it and couldn’t stop listening to it. Beautifully written and narrated the subject something I hadn’t touched on before. I was in tears on several occasions and the poem used was simply beautiful. I’ll definitely be recommending to my friends.
