Betsy Devonshire has settled into her new home in Excelsior, Minnesota, as owner of the town’s needlecraft shop. So why is she suffering from terrifying nightmares? I am really enjoying this series of books. The central characters are very likeable and it is very nice to be in their company. The books are very well written, and are written with real intelligence. I feel sad when each novel ends because they are so enjoyable.

An enjoyable listen but I didn’t realise, stupidly, that there would be so many sewing references. Nice and gentle as murder mysteries go.

An enjoyable addition to the needlecraft mystery series. A new setting, with our heroine sleuthing on vacation, provides a new raft of characters. Suspending belief is, as always, required, but this is a pleasant listen.
The narration is, however, something of an acquired taste. The delivery is quite stilted and wouldn't suit everyone. I found that, once I had become used to the style, it didn't spoil the book for me.
