One innocent recommendation later, and I was hitting download on Unhinged (Dance with My Demons, Book 1) faster than you can say “toxic but make it romantic.”

Narrated by the dream team—Marie Hawkins, Joe Arden, Corvin King, and Anthony Palmini—this audiobook was pure ear candy. Honestly, they could narrate my grocery list and I’d still swoon. The story itself? Dark, deliciously twisted, and surprisingly easy to binge. I devoured it in one sitting, alternating between grinning like an idiot and muttering, “Well… that’s not healthy.”

Without spoiling too much, expect morally grey characters, tangled desires, and enough emotional chaos to fuel a therapist’s career for decades. The ending? Yeah… it felt a little rushed—like the author suddenly remembered they had dinner reservations. But am I still diving headfirst into book two? Absolutely.

We are deep in my dark romance era now, and honestly? This unhinged ride didn’t even make me flinch. I’ve listened to worse. Much worse. 🤣
