The narrator was very poor, he mispronounced words frequently, this did detract from my enjoyment. He managed to stumble over even simple words and names.
Terrible with accents, he managed to give one character Johann Braun ( clearly German ) a Southern mountain accent somewhere between Kentucky and Tennessee.
