THE #1 BESTSELLER.

AN EPIC BATTLE THAT LASTED TEN YEARS. A LEGENDARY STORY THAT HAS SURVIVED THOUSANDS.

'Troy. The most marvellous kingdom in all the world. The Jewel of the Aegean. Glittering Ilion, the city that rose and fell not once but twice . . .'

When Helen, the beautiful Greek queen, is kidnapped by the Trojan prince Paris, the most legendary war of all time begins.

Listen in awe as a thousand ships are launched against the great city of Troy.

Feel the fury of the battleground as the Trojans stand resolutely against Greek might for an entire decade.

And witness the epic climax - the wooden horse, delivered to the city of Troy in a masterclass of deception by the Greeks . . .

In Stephen Fry's exceptional retelling of our greatest story, TROY will transport you to the depths of ancient Greece and beyond.

If you're enthralled by the magic of Greek mythology you'll love the final instalment to Fry’s retellings, ODYSSEY, a legendary voyage of peril, temptation, loss and epic adventure.

As always Mr Fry is a charming narrator. The story is fascinating and unfolded seamlessly. I loved Heroes and Myths and was thrilled to splinters was Troy came out.
If this doesn’t sound too frivolous I was delighted to learn the correct pronunciations of many of the characters as I had always pronounced them, incorrectly, in my head.
Thank you Mr Fry

Thoroughly enjoyed

If you like 'Mythos' and "Heroes', or are interested in anything related to Ancient Greece, you're guaranteed to enjoy this one too. I had no idea how much more there was to the Trojan War than we are made aware of. In fact, there's so much to it, I expect I'll listen to it again. Definitely worth a credit! Highly recommended.

Fascinating!

A fantastic tale told by a brilliant voice. If you're interested in the Illiad, do read that work. This is not an equivalent at all. However, if you have already read it, Fry's rendering of the tale of that great city is a great way to do it.

Mythic!

Loved it, although it was harder to follow with the abundance of characters on both sides, compared to Heroes or Mythos. Still would really recommend for everyone who loves a good story

Stephen Fry is excellent as always

Fry sets himself the difficult challenge of bringing both mythology and history to life, with no shortage of etymology and other educational content. He smashes it out of the park once again. I shall be personally aggrieved if he chooses not to cover the Odyssey and or Aeneid soon

Simply fantastic
