This duet was absolutely outstanding! As I said in the title, I’m a ball of emotion, which is no easy feat because I rarely cry over a book. I honestly can’t recommend them enough.

Definately a thought provoking book, specifically on how we all cope and process our traumas and mental health differently and how we adapt to its effects.

The authors writing style and deep emotional reach definately had me appreciating how we all process life differently and we can't judge that which we dont know or have never faced. We're all selfish in our own way 😔

I dont hate Shay, maybe I should, but in a world consumed with darkness he saw a light and snatched it for himself not realising he was snuffing that light out in the process. All because he NEEDED her to brighten his life and mute the intrusive thoughts of a mental illness that he was never provided help for 😔

Mina was so selfless. She never considered herself or what she wanted .. only the best for others, specifically those around her .. she literally gave up her own happiness and journey towards it because she cared so much for others .. sad really .. when you consider how empty her cup must have been - constantly refilling others but only one person filled hers - KEENAN!

I dont have words for Keenan, but I will say this - if u find ur Keenan in life, embrace them, love them, cherish them selflessly and give them as much as they give you 🫶🏼

when I started reading book 1 I thought....no I'm not going to enjoy this, but I persevered and I'm so glad I did. I'm not much of a cryer but I was very close with these books.
