FROM THE BESTSELLING AUTHOR OF OUR HOUSE, WINNER OF THE CRIME & THRILLER BOOK OF THE YEAR AWARD

Until Darren and Jodie move in, Lowland Way is a suburban paradise. Beautiful homes. Friendly neighbours. Kids playing out in the street. But Darren and Jodie don't follow the rules and soon disputes over loud music and parking rights escalate to threats of violence. Then, early one Sunday, a horrific crime shocks the street. As the police go house-to-house, the residents close ranks and everyone's story is the same: They did it. But there's a problem. The police don't agree. And the door they're knocking on next is yours.

I enjoyed this. The narration is excellent. The characters adequately developed. It’s a situation many of us could imagine ourselves in, albeit we may act differently. I found the ending rather sudden and flat.

Enjoyable!

This was a treat to listen to- twists, turns, fantastic narration... the characters are so believable and the whole premise is so realistic it's scary!

Addictive!

I really enjoyed the first two thirds of this book, but then it just got a bit silly and convoluted towards the end. Many of the characters are also very similar, and I found it hard keep it clear who was who, which lessened the impact of the story overall,.

An interesting idea, but gets a bit silly

Started well and was set up well. But it was too samey. Lots of repeated phrases and storylines (well it felt like it). I didn't like the characters and felt the whole story dragged and was long winded.

I guessed the ending.

I had listened to Our House (which was brilliant) but this was not up to that standard. Really slow and just not gripping.

OK but long winded

The narrator excellent. Entertaining but not gripping, I would look for more with same narrator.

Easy listening and clever plot.
