About this listen

Don’t miss the epic conclusion to The Youngbloods serial novella trilogy—a nonstop thrill ride brimming with dark humor, romance, and sinister suspense!

As a mafia-like demon family trapped on Earth, the Youngbloods have seen their share of family drama...but it’s never been like this before. While they battle the secret society trying to destroy them, Petra Youngblood must choose who she loves most. Will her loyalty lie with her family or with Killian Irons, the human she’s fallen in love with, whose family is hell-bent on eradicating her own?

Complicating matters further, a long-hidden secret is about to come to light. Ora Youngblood has been holding out on the clan. And what they’re about to discover will change their understanding of themselves—and their mission on Earth—forever.

I listened to all three novels at extra speed. kinda need to to keep my mind focused while in burnout. And...it wasn't bad. The whole series was intended as a book hangover rebound, and it was light and easy.
What i didn't expect was some smex, not much but enough heat and spice for the book. I did expect a HEA, and we did get one...although I was hoping for more for Nix and well more answers to the orginal mission. Also the HEA doesn't sit right knowing immortality is only for the demons.
I wished for a bit more in most parts, just a little to sell the big last book. But maybe this isn't the last book. maybe more is to come. After all we got a glimpse into all their lives, POVs for them all, and it was pretty equal, although a little more focus was on Petra and Killian.

Anyway it was a light read, I laughed at some parts and was charmed by Killian myself in the end. I could happily use this as a rebound series in the future.

Was a good light read
