I’d only ever seen tv adaptions of Harlan Coven’s books before reading this book and they kept me gripped from the first episode. I can honestly say reading the book is even more gripping and entertaining. The narrator was outstanding and really brought the book to life with the various accents and expression used. I was kept guessing to the end. Loved this book and would definitely recommend.

I usually find suspense and crime books quite predictable but this one had me wondering until the last pages. Really enjoyed reading The Woods and will look for more by this author.
