Very much enjoy this series and have as e-books so happy that first is now an audiobook. I use these as relaxation before bed. Love the crazy characters who are not so crazy as to be unbelievable. Narration is good - but just to nitpick - narrator gets confused between the pronunciation of toile [twahl] the mock-up, and tulle [tyool] the fabric, which confused me at first. Will not put me off buying the rest of the series as ebooks.

an excellent start to a series. good plot that developed well. good narrative and a 5 star in all respects. i have bought the second and hope the others will follow as i like this particular genre.

Started well …..came to like the main characters, however it eventually descended
into a farce 🫤. A real shame as the story could have developed into a good
murder/mystery but lost its way .
