Welcome break from the darker narratives which authors seem to think we want these days. Enjoyed the local colour. Storylines were well woven together and I look forward to reading the next in the series.

This was just what I was looking for....some entertaining escapism. The story never loses it's momentum and I got invested in the characters. There were some nice plot twists and a satisfying ending. It is well narrated too.
