My goodness it was good. About half way through I could see where it was going but still shocks and twists. Was disappointed when it was finished

Unlike a lot of novels this was easy to follow. Just a few characters with an interesting structure. From the moment the 2 women met on the train the plot was a little predictable but thoroughly enjoyable.

I have been struggling recently trying to find a really good listen. I found it in this book. The story centres around two women abused by their husband/partner. There is also a focus on the detective investigating the murder of one the partners. It was believable and whilst it didn't have any unexpected twists as such, it was gripping. The conclusion was quite emotional and unexpected as I half expected the murder to go unpunished. To say any more would give away the storyline. Well worth the credit and no complaints about the narration.
