A great read but Slider is getting aa bit boring, Slider constantly taking charge and having the ultimate idea is against the Chinese Council principal, just getting tired I guess….

I do like Stephen Leather books and Paul Thornley for a bit of a mindless listen. Easy stories that are well read to have in the earphones. Occasionally though a few little things will knock me out of my zone which are odd.

Like in this book it says that 9/11 took place on the 11th of November 2001 and not the 11th of September. It's really odd that no one picked that up in the proofreading or that even Paul Thornley reading that didn't stop and say 'hang on...' Things like that, while not affecting the story at all, do put me off as I then wonder how well the whole story was checked.

Small points but important to me. Still, he's one of those authors where if you like one, you'll most likely like them all.
