Starlight Cove's prim little librarian has despised me since the first day I parked my motorcycle on her sidewalk. Now our feud has landed us as roommates…and she just asked me to teach her every dirty thing she's never experienced.
Making Penelope Shea lose her mind has been my favorite hobby since she moved here. But our infamous daily sparring backfires when the town's meddling grandma sentences us to five hundred hours of community service…or thirty days of living together.
Penelope chooses cohabitation with the enemy to protect her spotless record. I agree because watching her unravel sounds like fun.
What I don't expect is to discover my rule-enforcing roommate has secrets—namely, a hidden career penning filthy romances and a list of sinful lessons she's written about but never learned firsthand.
Like an idiot, I volunteer as her tutor.
Penelope calls it research. I call it trouble. Because somewhere between her first lesson and her first tattoo, she goes from being in my head to being in my bed. Now she's under my skin as permanently as my ink is under hers. Our month is almost up. But I've never been good with rules—and letting her walk away isn't one I plan to follow.

This audiobook doesn’t just tell a romance story—it immerses you in it. The tension, the banter, the emotional vulnerability, the chemistry simmering underneath every interaction… it all felt so vivid that by the end I genuinely felt like I’d been living in Starlight Cove alongside them.
Declan and Penelope completely stole my heart. Their dynamic is addictive from the start—her rule-following, cardigan-wearing librarian energy clashing perfectly against his tattooed, motorcycle-riding chaos gremlin energy. But underneath all the teasing and tension are two deeply layered characters carrying fears and insecurities that made their journey feel incredibly real.
And the narration? Absolute perfection.
Aiden Snow doesn’t simply narrate Declan—he becomes him. His voice has this warmth to it that feels comforting one second and devastatingly seductive the next. It’s like being wrapped in a cosy blanket while simultaneously making very questionable decisions. Every line delivery felt intentional, intimate, and completely immersive. Honestly, this man’s voice should come with a warning label.
Charlotte North was equally incredible as Penelope. She captured every layer of her so beautifully—the vulnerability, the quiet longing, the awkwardness, the hidden confidence underneath it all. She made Penelope feel so authentic that at times it felt less like listening to a character and more like hearing someone slowly step into their own power.
Together, their duet narration elevated an already fantastic story into something unforgettable.
Brighton Walsh may have written my favourite Steele brothers book yet. What starts as a fun forced-proximity romance slowly unfolds into something emotional, intimate, funny, and surprisingly tender. The chemistry is electric, the banter is top tier, and the emotional payoff hits perfectly.
By the end, it didn’t feel like I’d finished a book.
It felt like I’d left somewhere I wasn’t ready to leave yet.
