About this listen

Good people do bad things

Bad people do good things

Sometimes it's hard to tell the difference…

Gina's body has floated down the River Esk. She was a farmer's wife. And it looks like an accident.

But Michael Brady has his doubts.

Brady's back in the police–and he needs to prove himself.

Is it murder? Or does Brady need it to be murder?

It's a year since his wife died. He's feeling lonely. And he's still trying to balance being a single dad and being a Detective Chief Inspector.

An absolutely fantastic who done it! Kept guessing right to the end. The plot and the characters are very believable.
The narrator voice it’s a pleasure to listen to. If I could have, I would’ve given this book a 10 out of 10 but could only do 5 out of five.

A really good crime thriller

The reader has a wonderful voice & way of expressing all aspects of the story & different characters. I like the story lines & the believability of the characters. I hope further episodes live up to the same standard.

I love this series.

Bladder cancer is one of the few cancers where it is possible to remove it completely and you have a urostomy, or neobladder. This happens quite quickly because it is relatively easy to look into the bladder. So none of what Mark Richards wrote about his brother in law 's cancer was correct. It is pretty devastating to have someone going through treatment for bladder cancer and then reading this type of nonsense. Please make sure you research thoroughly before writing, your words can have effects. If Mark Richards has experienced anything like he describes, perhaps a relative, you will have a very good case for suing the hospital. As for the book, it was very good.

A lack of research

Enjoying the characters in the series but didn’t like the child abuse details. Uncomfortable reading but otherwise good story.

Couldn’t put it down. Late night listening!
