Summary

not as good as the first episode but still a good read and I am looking forward to the next book in the series

The story flowed and I will be buying the next book in the trilogy to find out what happens next. I am used to the narrator now, and I have to say her performances is masterly. Not just narration, but a performance for sure.

Queen Emma and her family are brought to life

Good story, Loved the voice acting of Emma. but oh my god when athelred is acted out it is cringeworthy, all of a sudden the book becomes very difficult to listen too.
The narrator is very bad at male voices, especially male villains, you might wanna skip ahead here, luckily there is not as much of it here as in the first book.
