The epic conclusion to the ever-popular supernatural series, by the number one bestselling author of Alex Rider.

Having escaped from Hong Kong, the five gatekeepers – Matt, Pedro, Scott, Jamie and Scarlett – are lost in a hostile and dangerous world. I thought the story was to short to fit in the massive plot but as the story went on I found out that the plot was as good as it gets but there was 1 thing wrong, I wanted more!

Thrilling plot with a good ending to the series.

What an incredible book! It’s very long but the suspense didn’t let up for a minute. Totally gripping all the way through. It is very dark though. And the darkness is all the more disturbing because it’s things we know are happening somewhere in the world right now. It’s a brilliant preparation for entering a troubled world but the dystopian world presented is one that could easily come about if we are not careful. Therefore I think it’s better for older teens or adults and not for children likely to be haunted by some of the terrifying imagery. It’s incredibly exciting and the characters are all brilliant. An amazing achievement!

An amazing finale to a brilliant series!
