Summary

Jojo Harvey is a literary agent whose star is on the rise. In love with both her married boss and her burgeoning career, not much distracts her. Until she finds herself representing two women who used to be best friends. Used to be. One of them, Gemma, has suddenly found herself from a broken home at the age of 32. Meanwhile, Lily, the woman Gemma has always blamed for stealing her one chance of happiness, is enjoying the overnight success of her debut novel. Set in the world of publishing, The Other Side of the Story is about love, loyalty, glass ceilings and survival tactics - and what to do when you get your chance for revenge.©2004 W F Howes Ltd (P)2004 W F Howes Ltd Contemporary Contemporary Romance Family Life Fiction Genre Fiction Literature & Fiction Romance Romantic Comedy Women's Fiction Funny Witty Comedy Feel-Good

I read this book many years ago but had forgotten most of it, Lily was the only character which had stayed with me. I always enjoy Marian Keyes books, they take you on a journey with The characters without being sickly sweet or predictable. The narrator brings the book alive with all the different voices. I will be looking for more audio books narrated by Gerri Halligan.

I enjoyed this book, which was beautifully narrated by Gertie Halliday. Three intertwining stories are told about three very different women and their lives. Books - writing and publishing - are a central theme.

Enjoyable different perspective
