I loved this deep dive into the north east. It captures language roots, cultural founding along with a great breath of other history. I enjoyed it and I’ve learnt so much about my home.

I liked Dan Jackson on the rest is history so bought the audible book. I feel I understand the North east better. It is where my wife is from so helps me to understand some things about her family a bit better.

I liked Dan Jackson’s narration m. However, I found the structure of the book chaotic, jumping from one topic to the rest.. something … friendly people… something… friendly people etc
