Elly Griffiths tells excellent stories even when they are short. It was wonderful to get glimpses into the world of Ruth and Nelson alongside other of her characters.
There needed to be a gap or perhaps music between each book.

This book was just what I needed. It’s a beautiful collection of short stories mostly featuring the main characters from Elly’s novels. Recovering from COVID recently, I just hadn’t got the concentration to cope with a novel, but these stories really kept me going. Lovely to catch up with Ruth again too.
