I love this author and was super excited to listen to this, it was ok but I don’t think I enjoyed it as much as her other books.

The story is engaging but i did find it was hard to keep track of who everyone was (I tend to listen in the car on short journeys)

All in all a good story and I will probably listen to the next instalment to follow the character

Story was weak and disappointing. Nice descriptions of Wales and enjoyed hearing the Welch names but overall not worth the read.
The reader was poor with very odd pauses or editing. The reading was made much better by speading it up to 1.2.
Wouldn’t recommend this book to friends.

The best kind of mystery- a brilliant setting, a multitude of unpleasant characters vs good people, and a truly complex tapestry of storylines brought together in a beautifully easy read. And a possible love story too. Loved it!
