I knew this book would be important and wonderful for YA readers from early on, but I didn’t expect it to grab me as an advanced adult reader as it did: it punched me in the gut continuously, eliciting waves of emotion again and again. It educates humanity on the reality of war and the idiocy of waging nuclear threats, yet simultaneously the importance of faith: hope without guarantee. I hope every young human in the world reads this: it could change hearts and minds in a world increasingly influenced if not controlled by the American-led military industrial complex.
Ps wish the male voice had been read by a Japanese voice.
