The Amelia Peabody books are tremendous romps and Barbara Rosenblat narrates them to perfection. Every character is distinctive, but Amelia is an absolute triumph.

I find E Peters writing entertaining, fascinating and most enjoyable. Admittedly it could be described as dated but that is only right and proper as the story is set at the beginning of the last century! I enjoyed the ingenious plot as it pulled me gently through the benign to the horrifying consequences. Thank you for an excellent listen.

This was another rip-roaring story from the Amelia Peabody series. Elizabeth Peters has done a wonderful job writing this story and Barbara Rosenblat has, again, done a wonderful job of bringing the story to life for a listening audience.

From the start of this series , I've always enjoyed enjoyed every book. The interesting storylines, twists & plots with opportunity to learn a bit about egyptology at the same time is always a plus. However, what makes these books stand apart from all the audiobooks I've listened to, is the excellent narration bringing Amelia Peabody completely to life. I am continually amazed, this voice actor can come up with so many voices, accents, ages etc....l forget that I'm listening to book and I'm totally immersed in the story.

As usual, wonderfully entertaining :-)
