Sadly the narrator reads very badly in a thick American accent rendering it unlistenable … and that’s without mentioning the unceasing, horrendous jingle.

Wodehouse is brilliant, although these short stories aren't as good as his longer Jeeves and Wooster ones.
Narrator is rubbish- I just can't get used to an American Bertie! And the incredibly annoying background music throughout 😡
All in all this version is not worth buying.

Deaver Brown often stumbles over his words and mispronounces English words that he seems unfamiliar with. There is also a very loud background music playing at all times which detracts greatly from the story. I suggest finding another version and avoiding this one.
