Tom Sharpe has an amazing humor. You know those laugh out loud moments? That's Tom Sharpe. If you enjoyed this, and haven't already read the Wilt series - you must.

Having read or listened to almost all other Sharpe novels, I had my reservations about this one, having read reviews. But it actually turned out well. Yes it all ends in quick fashion, but it works. Better than the later Wilt stories I would say.

Loved the characters, the slow entwining and journey progression but unfortunately rushed towards the end. I would still recommend as with all Tom Sharpe books, saving for a summer afternoon read.
