Beautifully written and performed. I recommend this book often. I adore it! Iona Grey is easily my favourite author. Her books are quite simply outstanding.

Nearly gave up on this after several attempts as it just seemed to plod on and on … about two thirds in it got interesting and then quite a sad ending. Nothing really original but an ok read. Seem to have read a lot of similar books recently. Also narration is very very quiet almost like the narrator is whispering! Listening in the car I had to strain to hear, even at full volume.

I had great expectations on reading the reviews for this book, but how disappointed I was. Maybe I can't do romances, but this seemed predictable, contrived and the voice of the boyfriend was awful.

Could not finish this without great pain.
