Summary

Joy Ellis started her career as a flower seller in Mayfair in the 1960s, before going on to open her own florist in Surrey. When the recession hit, Joy had a career change and became a bookseller, and attended a writing course in Greece where she was mentored by Sue Townsend. She now lives in the Fens with her partner Jacqueline, where the flatlands and marshes provide inspiration for her eerie plotlines.

I didn't enjoy this anywhere near as much as the previous books. I will read the next one and hope it's just a blip in the series

A gripping tale full of twists and turns, and so believable! But the ending was a complete surprise!
Joy Ellis is my new favourite author , Marie and Jackman are such normal cops, and with the fabulous voice of Richard Armitage reading the story , perfect.

Yet another very good book written by Joy Ellis. There is always an unexpected twist. The more I read the more I like. One of the best things is you can empathise with the characters. As they are in a number of her books you feel you can identify with the characters. I really think they are a must read.
