I love this series, so when the chance came to listen to Lola and Hannibal’s story, I jumped at it straight away. After the ending of Good Girl, I was absolutely chomping at the bit for Lola’s story, and wow, did this deliver.
This dives into darker territory, giving us Lola’s side of things in a way that’s raw, emotional, and completely gripping. Her journey feels intense and personal, and the dynamic between her and Hannibal adds this edge of danger and vulnerability that keeps you hooked. The way Hannibal loves and protects Lola is EVERYTHING! Seriously that man would burn the world for her and I am here for it. Yes, sometimes his methods and actions are questionable. Are they morally grey? Absolutley but you cannot deny how devoted he is to Lola and the baby, and his daughter who he finds himself caring for after years of absence.
Vivienne & Sean absolutely nailed it. They bring so much personality and depth to the characters. The emotional scenes hit harder because of how naturally they’re delivered, and You can feel the tension building in their voices.
Overall, this was such a gripping, addictive listen. It’s definitely on the darker side, so please check your TW’s.

It is great to be back in Candice Wright’s “Raven Souls MC” world again for another amazing novel, and she turns up the heat and pulls no stops, bringing out all the emotions for this third book of the series, Lola and Hannibal’s story. Lola has history with Havoc, the president of the mother chapter, and it is not good, but there are two sides to each story and then there is the truth, some may even take sides, but in the end they were both wronged by his brother and Con, the then President of his chapter, and it cost them both. There is a lot going on in that chapter, wrong dealings with the president and his sidekick Driller, who is Havoc’s brother, who made Lola his old lady. Havoc and his crew look into matters, and when it all hits the fan, he has Hannibal take over as president of that chapter, and Lola becomes his old lady, a strategic move that is agreed upon. Hearing Lola’s side of things and what she endured, not just by Driller, but the entire club who shunned her for what she allegedly did to Havoc. Exceeding my expectations, Hannibal and Lola’s story captivated with its character depth and incredible storylines, and once I started, I could not stop because I needed to know what happened next. This masterfully crafted, multi-layered story has plenty of drama, angst, heartrending moments, thrilling and suspenseful moments that take you to the edge of your seat, profound emotions, and steamy romance. The writing, plot, and world-building are fantastic, as are the character growth and development. These characters in this series are amazing, and I think it is great that these bikers live up to their road names, WTG Hannibal! Candice Wright, thank you for another exceptional story and the wild and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 Another incredible Blue Nose Audio listen and production, performed by the wonderfully talented Vivienne LaRue and Sean Masters, who were amazing at voicing the characters. Both embodied their roles completely, grasping every aspect of their character’s personalities. LaRue absolutely aced it as Lola and delivered a powerful performance, bringing out her every emotion, and had you feeling them all. Masters did the same as Hannibal and was just as amazing. Both were fantastic at performing the roles of the side/secondary characters too. These two were the perfect cast to bring these characters to life, a fabulous team with voices that complemented each other and a captivating performance that has you hooked to the story. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to.
