Would you listen to The Diva Rules again? Why?

Oh god yes I would listen to this again, and again...Flicking through Netflix desperately trying to find something to watch and landing on RuPauls drag race, becoming a fan and then an addict. I saw Michelle Visage and thought to myself that woman scares the bejesus out of me. After listening to her book, if I met her in real life, I would just want to give her a "Hey guuurrrl" and hug her.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Her openness and her vulnerability, especially when discussing her anxiety moments.

I have watched Drag Race and loved Michelle for many years, I’m shocked it took me so long to get round to reading/listening to Diva Rules. Narrated by Michelle is the only way I could have enjoyed it, and I did, loved it in fact. I recommend everyone listen and take on board all/some/at least one thing Michelle is trying to teach the world.

Love Michelle Visage, she is a true icon. I cannot believe I didnt know how involved she was in the early NY ballroom scene, she was vogue-ing with the best of them and was insanely good at it - learn more about this in the book, it's really intresting. She was an ally before the word ally was popular, before gay and trans rights were taken seriously. As an ally myself I absolutely love her for that :) Her advice in the book and her life story is fascinating and really interesting! loved the book, just one recommendation I liked listening to it at 0.90x speed as one previous reviewer recommended, it was the perfect speed for me too.

I was home sick one day and very bored and unmotivated. I decided to get this book and got through it in one day!
The stories are captivating and immersive and the the book as a whole is, if nothing else an insite as to how every should live their life without being too spiritual or in your face.
It's all entertaining stories, both happy and sad and each story has meaning and lessons behind them.
Would recommend And Michelle has a new fan in me.
